Helping Kids and Families follow Jesus

We believe children are a blessing and a contributing part of our church body. We partner with parents to help their children grow in the Way of Jesus.. Our kids gatherings are more than just childcare. Through community-based discipleship, we invite kids to be with Jesus and follow His Way for the sake of the world.

We are so glad you are here! Head to the front of the sanctuary to check in. A volunteer will happily help you register and answer any questions you may have.

To make your morning a bit more smooth, you can preregister your family in our system! Click here to add your family. Be sure to include your children’s age, grade (if applicable), and any special notes or allergies.

Our classrooms provide Bible-based curriculum with engaging activities for children ages 6 months through 4th grade. Kids will participate in corporate worship with their families before heading into class for story time, prayer, and age-appropriate play each week. Our dedicated volunteers are carefully screened, trained, and excited to welcome your children.
We love having babies in our service, but sometimes they need a break. Our mom’s room is a comfortable space near the sanctuary for you to care for your baby when they need a reset. We provide a changing table, comfortable seating, and a small play rug.

Alongside teaching your kids to follow Jesus, our priority is that Desert Kids is a fun and safe environment. We do not take your trust in us lightly. Your child’s safety is a high priority to Desert church. Some of the ways we carry this out is through coded name tags, volunteer background checks, and safety training. Please reach out to a Desert Kids Director with any further questions or concerns.

Desert Kids aims to be a space of belonging for every child. If your child has medical needs, learning differences, behavioral supports, or accommodations that would help them participate successfully, please share that information with us.
We believe that the most important job of a set of parents is to disciple their children in the Way of Jesus. Our goal is to come alongside families to equip parents and kids to live out their faith.
